| [**09:41:35 AM**] What it can mean is it could save us money, lower the costs down to us. Customers could generally benefit from it. A lot of the products they're using like solar power could become more affordable, comparable to the other energy sources. If you want to do an energy fix of your own, you can install solar panels on your home, et cetera. You're also eligible for a federal tax credit if you do that. Not only could that save you about $2,000, it could make putting solar panels on your home, et cetera, more affordable. Poppy Harlow, thanks. Who's number one or number two? |

There is a flat roof, which allows placement of solar panels and a water storage tank for use as a self-sufficient unit. It is set up that it can hook into existing utilities if you need them, water, sewer and electricity. But a lot of times, whatever disaster made you homeless also takes out all of the utilities. So we've worked to set up a way that you can bring in solar power, bring in a generator, use a composting toilet to make sure that it's as functional as possible. One thing that you realize when you get into small space design is that every square inch counts, and that's not just floor plan. You see the space that's available, and then you try to fit things in, and realizing that it's not just about functionality, but it is also about beauty and that you need a nice space to be in, because, you know, we don't just want to provide a roof over someone's head. |

| [**04:40:15 PM**] And we split atoms to boil water...specially coated pikes techniques seem to spin turbines. And Oscar thinks that soon it will be able to produce this thermal solar power cheaply enough to compete with coal and gas fired power plants. The price of natural gas has skyrocketed. New coal fired plants are controversial and costly as well. And O'Donnell says thermal solar power offers too big advantages free fuel and reliability. He can't store electricity from photovoltaic cells because it's too expensive but you can store hot water. To illustrate O'Donnell ... Costs about five dollars one of them about a 150 dollars thermal solar power plants can use store hot to make electricity even after dark. Investors and utilities are keenly interested according to Nathaniel ... blm has not issued one permit for a new solar plant in the United States. Wayne Brady ...says his agency is working on this but it's simply overwhelmed. In the past year and a half it's received 125 applications. ... Enough mirrors tubes and wires you could theoretically provide enough solar power for most of the nation. And that's not science fiction. Kathleen |
